The Rapha Pro Team LS Lightweight Jersey III is a versatile layer for intense training sessions in changeable weather. This high-quality men's cycling jersey offers light protection and excellent breathability, ensuring comfort on chilly morning rides without excess heat disrupting your focus during repeated efforts. This 3rd generation has been updated with a more engaged, close-fitting cut compared to the previous model.
The Pro Team Lightweight long-sleeved jersey is designed for use in temperatures between 6°C and 20°C. If you are cycling at the colder end of that range, you could pair it with a sleeveless, short-sleeved or long-sleeved Rapha base layer, depending on the conditions.
Are you looking for a jersey for warmer weather within the same Pro Team range? The Rapha Pro Team Training jersey (18 - 32°C) may be a better choice.

Italian main fabric with a dual-material design
The main fabric is Italian and offers plenty of stretch for an optimised fit while cycling. The dual-material design provides light protection where needed, and high breathability in the areas where you generate the most heat.
Low-cut collar and updated finish
The collar has a low-cut design to prevent irritation to your neck. The finish on the sleeves and torso has been updated for maximum comfort on longer training rides.
UPF 30 sun protection
The fabric on the body and sleeves includes UPF 30 for protection against UV rays while cycling in bright spring or autumn sunlight.
- In temperatures at the lower end of the 6 - 20°C range, pair the Pro Team Lightweight jersey with a sleeveless, short-sleeved or long-sleeved Rapha base layer.
- In temperatures above 20°C, this long-sleeved jersey will soon be too warm and a short-sleeved model such as the Rapha Pro Team Training jersey may be more comfortable.
- Wash at 30°C using a mild detergent; avoid fabric softener as it can damage the technical fibres and compromise breathability.
- Allow the jersey to air-dry; the tumble dryer can damage the heat-sealed seams and silicone grips.
- Wear a base layer underneath if you are cycling at the colder end of the temperature range.
For what temperature range is the Rapha Pro Team Lightweight jersey suitable?
This long-sleeved jersey is designed for cool to moderate conditions and temperatures between 6°C and 20°C. If you are cycling at the cooler end of that range, you could pair it with a Rapha base layer. Above 20°C, the jersey will soon be too warm.
What is the difference between this Rapha Pro Team Lightweight and the Rapha Pro Team Training jerseys?
While both are part of the Rapha Pro Team range, they are designed for different temperature ranges. This Lightweight Jersey III is intended for cool to moderate conditions (6 - 20°C), and the Pro Team Training Jersey is designed for warm weather (18 - 32°C).
What is the best way to wash the Rapha Pro Team Lightweight jersey?
Wash the jersey at 30°C using a mild detergent and avoid fabric softener, as this coats the technical fibres and reduces breathability. Leave it to air-dry: the tumble dryer can damage the heat-sealed seams and silicone grippers.
How much storage space does the Rapha Pro Team Lightweight jersey offer?
The jersey has 3 spacious back pockets that can hold your essentials throughout long training rides, plus a small zipped pocket that can hold valuables such as your keys or card.
Can I also pair the Rapha Pro Team Lightweight jersey with bib shorts from another brand?
Yes, the jersey is not designed for use with any specific bib shorts and can be paired with cycling legwear of your own choosing. For a cohesive look within the same brand, you could opt for a Rapha bib short such as the Pro Team model.
